ARS 2027 International Conference

November 7-12, 2027 | San Diego, California, USA

Dear Colleagues,

We are delighted to invite you to ARS 2027: Bridging Translation, Signaling, and Disease, to be held November 7–12, 2027, in San Diego, California.

The ARS meeting series has a long and proud tradition of bringing together the global aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase community. At a time when ARSs have expanded far beyond their canonical roles in translation to emerge as central players in signaling, human disease, and therapeutic innovation, ARS 2027 marks a particularly important moment for the field. This conference is designed to unite diverse perspectives—from fundamental enzymology and structural biology to cell signaling, synthetic biology, and translational medicine—and to foster deep scientific exchange across disciplines and generations.

We are especially excited to host ARS 2027 in Southern California, a region known for its vibrant scientific ecosystem, relaxed coastal atmosphere, and welcoming international spirit. San Diego offers year-round mild weather, abundant sunshine, and a rich blend of cultures, history, and cuisine. From oceanfront walks and Mission Bay sunsets to world-class museums, neighborhoods, and food scenes, the city provides an ideal setting for both focused scientific discussion and informal connection.

We warmly welcome established investigators, early-career scientists, and trainees from around the world to join us for an inspiring week of science, collaboration, and community building. We look forward to seeing you in San Diego.

With best wishes,

Xiang-Lei Yang, The Scripps Research Institute
Michael Ibba, Chapman University
